Fresh air and cool water, reflections in ripples and the action of a lobster boat on the durface of the water in North Rustico Harbor, Prince Edward Island are the focus of this painting. The enormous expanse of sky is the main feature in this typical coastal scene. The boat is a commercial vessel throughout the week, but on Sunday afternoons, family members enjoy an excursion around the coastline of the Island.

Flocks of semipalmated sandpipers and plovers gather over the Bay of Fundy where they feed on shrimp in the mud at low tide.
Soon they will depart for their winter grounds in South America.
Les volées de bécasseaux semi palmés et de pluviers s'amassent au-dessus de la Baie de Fundy où ils cherchent les crevettes dans la vas à la marée basse.
Bientôt ils partiront pour leur terrains hivernaux en Amérique du Sud.

Apple blossoms last only a few glorious days in the Belliveau Orchard by the Petitcodiac River. The children return every year to the same tree for family photos and a picnic.
Les fleurs des pommiers éclosent pendant seulement quatre ou cinq jours glorieux au Verger Belliveau par la rivière Petitcodiac. Les enfants reviennent au même arbre avec leur famille au même arbre pour les photos familiales et un pique-nique.
